The sleeves are really long. But overall is ok.I purchased this rain jacket in black for my dad’s funeral because rain was forecast for the entire week. On the day it was cool and damp with sporadic drizzling rain. We were outdoors throughout the military rites and Rite of Committal, and this jacket kept me dry enough, but heavy rain would have soaked through. It’s lightweight but provided a little warmth and wind protection as well. It has a bit of an a-line shape, which is great for us ladies with pear shaped figures. It’s a great length for rain coverage. I’m 5’4.5” and it hits below the knee. It’s not a true black, but more of a gray-black as you can see in the photo when compared to the rest of the black in my clothing. At first I thought they’d sent me the navy blue by mistake and I had to hold it up to other clothing items to determine the color.. There are a couple of issues, beginning with the hood. It’s weirdly huge and pointy in the back and makes you look like the grim reaper. It protects you from the elements, but you have to ask WHY anyone thought the pointy hood was a good idea?!?! I also wish it didn’t have the paisley print inside the jacket. It’s pretty but clashes with pretty much everything except basic black. The way it is styled there is no way to wear it without showing the paisley lining. A black lining would be more refined. The pockets are nice and can hold the larger size IPhone. I sized up so I could wear the jacket over sweaters or other layers, but it’s generously sized so I didn’t need to. In the end it’s a nice windbreaker and extra layer for damp days when it’s sprinkling, but it’s only water resistant and not meant for heavy rain.Love length how the jacket fits, great color great overallThis raincoat fits nicely. I like the color and the hood. When walking through a downpour, the clothing under the coat feels slightly damp. The zipper and snaps are functional and protective.Super cute coat. Received many compliments. It’s not a warm coat but I wasn’t planning to use for warmth. The hood could use a drawstring to help stay on. I do notice I am not wet but slightly damp after walking 10 blocks downtown and carrying an umbrella. But it still keeps me pretty dry. I would not use it without an umbrella in a heavy or long time in rain. But I do love the look and that it’s super lightweight. I have broad shoulders and back and the 2x was perfect .I ordered the purple, looked like fuchsia to me, and it was just beautiful. I'm 200lbs and 5'5". I ordered a 2xl and it fit a little too perfect. If I wore anything other that a t-shirt or thin top I may not have been able to zip it all the way up. I returned it not just because of that but when I tried it on it was warm. I live in Las Vegas and that just wouldn't work for me.the coat is very attractive and professional looking. The lining makes it very pretty.
