Many years ago, I had to get myself a leather jacket. Pretty sure I bought it in a Mall. So, it's been a long time since then and I wanted to treat myself to a new one. This frigging jacket IS seriously HIGH QUALITY. It weighs more than one of my dogs; love that! Pockets and hiding places all over the jacket. When you pick this jacket up, you know you have a bad a$$ Leather Jacket.I don't ride anymore; too many knucklehead drivers out there. This jacket is for dealing with the climate (we live in the mountains) and we have Concealed Carry here so this jacket is perfect for that. The liner is nicer than your average jacket. It's zipped and buttoned in several places; way cool. All of the vents are new to me. My old jackets never had that; way cool. The way it was packed: Excellent heavy box, jacket was folded, on a massive hanger and well protected with plastic and heavy cardboard inserts. This is a Big Boy jacket. Serious leather riding jacket. It is worth every penny of the asking price. This will be the last jacket I ever need; I'm 59. When I was shopping on Amazon, I was drawn to this by sorting Customer Reviews. Now I'm reinforcing that concept. This is an amazing jacket and it's nice to know that you can get something of this high quality from an online Merchant!Got it for husband to ride bike in the cold. It is very thick and well made and keeps him really warm. He is 5'10" and 210 and bought the XL which fits great. Really glad he didn't get the Large.I bought this to replace the exact same jacket I bought 12 years or so ago. The reason for the replacement is no fault of the jacket. I just outgrew it. Hope this one lasts just as long.Very pleased with the workmanship and quality of this jacket. It is heavy, but very well put together. With the included armor, I feel well protected from falls and road rash. I wore it throughout winter riding in Texas without the liner and it served me well. It has vent zippers and a concealed carry pocket for left and right hand users that comes in handy. Also looks good. It is a high quality jacket. I am 5’6” and weigh 175.00. The large fit me with a little room to spare to layer up. Sleeves are a tiny bit too long but are perfect on the bike. I was truly amazed by the quality of this jacket.I have worn the Harley Davidson version of this jacket since the early 90's. This jacket is a serious upgrade from that jacket. The inside pockets are HUGE, which my older one doesn't have. I love how the pockets on the front vents is closed with a zipper. My old jacket uses a long strip of Velcro to keep the pockets closed when venting, which feels a LOT less secure. And this leather is so supple, much more luxuriant. And my old jacket doesn't have options for padding (I am going to pad this new jacket UP!) I am 51 years old...6' 250lbs and I wanted a leather that will double as an outer layer for the winter months, so I ordered a size up (3XL) and I hit it out of the park with this jacket. Perfect sizing all around. Sleeves aren't too long, torso length is just the right length, roomy enough for layering, and this jacket looks amazing on me. Perfect! There are a lot of nice touches to this jacket, the angle of the sleeve cuffs protects the outer edge of my hand, almost up to the bottom pinky knuckle and the cuff zippers go up the front of my wrists and into the center of the palm, providing a LOT of protection for when I fall on my ass an reach out with my hands to break the fall. My older jacket doesn't do that. Very smart design. I love how anonymous it is. All the snaps and zippers are blank. My old jacket has Harley Davidson markings on all of that (I have never owned a Harley). This is a gorgeous, well thought out, luxuriant, attractive jacket. I am now an intelligent looking, sophisticated - man about town.My biggest concern when buying this coat was the sizing. I have been looking for a good leather coat at local retail shops for a few months, but couldn't find anything that fit. I am pretty large, wearing tshirts at 2XL, but any coat I tried on (even if it was listed at 5X) was too tight for me, especially around the shoulders. After looking at the other reviews here and measuring myself with a tape measure from my garage, I determined 2XL should work, but 3XL would be a better choice so I bought the 3XL. It arrived today and I tried it on right away, and it fits great. It is heavier and warmer than I was expecting, but there is a removable inner liner to help reduce that a bit. The tradeoff is that it is a bit uncomfortable on the skin without the liner, but I expect that I'll get used to that in short order. This coat has A LOT of pockets and other zippers to allow/block air flow. I don't think I'll be able to find them all. There are tons of places to store things in the jacket and zip them up securely. Overall, it seems to be a really good jacket and is worth at least twice the price I paid for it.I’m 6’ tall, 240lbs; ordered a XXXL because of the reviews saying “size up.” A XXL would have been perfect, but I decided to keep this one because I have found that I’m getting larger as I get older and will probably grow into it…a lesson learned with older more expensive jackets I outgrew. As far as the jacket quality…wow!!! You would be hard pressed to find this quality in a leather biker jacket for near twice the price. I’ve been riding for 47 years and have been through my share of over-priced HD and other branded jackets. This is by far the best I’ve had and should be my last. Heavy, thick leather will keep you protected if necessary and warm with or without the zip-out liner. And pockets everywhere. Great jacket!Very nice Qualityjust as expected.
