I have been through trying a few extra warm jackets for cold days in the mountains. I will try it on the actual slopes this week but it has felt so warm and just what looking for. I am 5'9" and slim, and so many larges are long enough in arms but then way too big and boxy in the torso. This one is not to boxy and the length sits mid hip or bit longer. Like the snaps on the side at bottom, which I will use when I tele on the cold days. And pit zips are not a common feature on the big down jackets, so will be good for when I often overdress and the day warms up. Only drawback is the material seems like it would snag on a tree or something very easily. I wish it was thicker all over, the shoulders have a thicker fabric, but it needs to be the whole jacket. I tried a Rab Valiance as it had the thicker fabric, but it was so puffy and boxy and too roomy in torso - didn't fit as well. I do have Flylow Foxy bibs and another jacket, so I guess I like they way the fit.
