Purchased primarily for golf. I have owned Zero Restriction before and it works great for golf - no hinderance of the golf swing when wearing ZR.I purchased this to replace a previous ZR rain jacket that I packed in my vehicle - I use that one for outdoor events when rain is part of the forecast including football in the fall (layering).The previous jacket was waterproof but not with gortex, like fact this jacket include goretex.
