Love these boots but I wore them for the first time last weekend and one of them has a defect in the sole. I can feel a weird popping under my heel and it makes a funny noise every time I take a step. This is just in one boot and it’s super annoying considering what I paid for them. They fit a little tighter in the toes than I was expecting for rain boots but I don’t really mind because I don’t like it when boots are sloppy. I definitely can’t wear thicker socks with them, though. I wish I could exchange for a different pair but they no longer have my size… also, the price was slashed considerably right after I bought them, which is also extremely frustratingI bought these boots because I already have a pair of them, and I love them so much, that I wanted to make sure I had a spare. They fit great and are very comfortable - so much so, that I started using them as a garden/landscaping work boot - hence the reason for the second pair - I’ve kind of trashed the first pair in the process, and still wanted to be able to wear them as a super cute rain boot. So there you go - I think they are awesome.I spotted these boots on a woman and followed her around in Starbucks, trying to read the back of her boots without having her notice! So glad I did. These are super cute and of very high quality. It says on the label "the finest single-estate 100% natural rubber from sustainable harvests." They are no-PVC, no-animal by-products. That's why they are expensive. Only one caveat: the fit is slightly "funny." Hard to describe ... kind of like the footbed is not quite straight for the foot. Wearable, but I will need to get used to it. Also, I have a medium foot and it just fits in the width. I cannot imagine that someone with a wider foot could make this work (but you can try...). These are not lightweight by any stretch, but not too heavy either -- ie, I bought the men's Baffin Marsha Mid Rain Boot recently and that was far heavier and I returned it. I wear a size 10 shoe and a size 40 in this boot. I am a woman in my 50s -- get them, you will be totally hip like me. Am going to buy a pair for my daughter too. This collection of Ilse boots is great. It's the second pair to add to my closet. They are made of quality materials and well constructed. Always pleased with them! These were HUGE. I normally wear size 6.5-7, so I bought the 7, thinking I could add arch supports, etc. Honestly, I probably could have ordered a size 5. I couldn’t exchange for a size 6 because they were unavailable. Too bad. They are cute, especially in that bright yellow!these boots fit more like boots and less like galoshes. That is, they are not floppy on your feet. The rubber is substantial. The wool lining breathes. And the style rocks! I will buy more Ilse Jacobsen shoes. I wear an 8.5 US and ended up buying a 38. I ordinarily wear a 39 but the 38's fit perfectly. There is lots of toe room so that may be a factor. And I wore lighter weight Smartwool socks, so I would say the boots are roomy - again without being sloppy.Best weather-related purchase ever! ...aside from my Blunt umbrella, of course. Super comfortable - fits like actual boots, not rainboots. Extremely good craftsmanship - will last for years! I typically wear a 5.5 in shoes and decided on the 35. Fits like a charm but would recommend longer socks to prevent chaffing at the upper ankle.Look these red rain boots. I ordered a whole size larger than I normally wear, so they fit me fine. Comfy and stylish. I'm always receiving lots of compliments!UPDATE: I ordered them for the second time and I couldn't be more satisfied. They arrived in just a couple of days and (this time around) they look exactly like on the picture (if not prettier)! I'm very happy I gave it another shot, and would order from the seller again!!Disappointing. First of all, I waited 3 weeks(!!) for the boots to arrive. They were a little bit large, but actually very comfortable. However, on the back of the black shoes, the white print was smudged and the rubber looked faded and uneven. Looked liked cheap manufacturing to me. I was super excited about these boots and waited very long for them as well so I'm quite disappointed with my purchase..Bought for wife as Crocs were too tight across the top of her foot. Loves them has been out in them in the recent rain. Look nice and feel well made and robust. Will know more as gardening increases.Stylish, comfortable, warm, well made wellies which should last a long time although only time will tell. Well worth the money especially as bought whilst in the sale. Only negative being that they are quite long in length but not so in width. Altogether a great purchase.Great boots. I am using them for gardening, but they are really way to nice for that! Comfortable and easy to get on and off.Fab. Don't want to write a good review or everyone will want a pair
